What happened to the simplistic approach to ministry

Your focus in ministry as a minister What happened to the simplicity approach to ministry where a minister’s focus was just to serve God and was not competitive to be better than the other? The idea to hold seminars and conferences to show off and pat thyself that your meeting had a larger gathering than another minister is nothing short of ungodliness.

Your focus in ministry as a minister

What happened to the simplicity approach to ministry where a minister’s focus was just to serve God and was not competitive to be better than the other?

The idea to hold seminars and conferences to show off and pat thyself that your meeting had a larger gathering than another minister is nothing short of ungodliness.

Ministry is not an arena of contest. It is a place where each servant is just focused on serving according to God’s will and when the need be, to join forces to serve.  We live with a sense of common purpose.

Unfortunately, some young ministers have a misleading focus in ministry. Some are laboring to be recognized as generals (I don’t even know what that means when it is used loosely). As a result of such ungodly understanding, many young people are rather into branding, cars, and social media hype, all in the bid for recognition and fame.

Now, in their own world, they have cheapened ministry to clothes, cars, and fame. But this cannot be.

The ultimate example for ministry is Christ. And it is important that a minister understands it’s about God and His will. Therefore. we must know the will of God and pursue that.
