Let us learn from Jesus

In Ministry, Learn from Jesus.

Jesus is the Son of God, and during His days on earth, He was able to relate with people. Some, perhaps we could say took Him for granted, yet He did not change His composure.

Philippians 2 teaches us that He humbled Himself even to death on the cross.

Today, the idea of humility and relating with people in love and simplicity seems not to be to the taste of some ministers. Rather, they prefer to have barricades around them. All in an attempt to somehow feel important or create an impression of superiority.

Meanwhile, these very ones, when they started in ministry and were not known, will go for evangelism, and will take time out to greet people without discrimination.

But with a bit of fame, they changed. Now, in their ministries, only the wealthy can come into their office without an appointment and are allowed. They have time for visitation to the rich and conduct the wedding ceremonies of children of the rich.

They now demand business class and 4 / 5-star accommodation. Let’s pause and ask, “Who sent you as a minister?”

Regarding things like street evangelism, that becomes work for the up-and-coming ministers. They become too big for evangelism. Meanwhile, when they started their ministry, they will encourage all members and leaders to go out and evangelize.

But with such ungodly culture now prevailing we will make all kinds of excuses, okay, we have heard.

Now, let us consider the man Jesus Christ. He is our role model for ministry, just in case we have forgotten. Sharing the message of the Kingdom during His time on earth was part of His work, and He never reached a point where He stopped.

He gave power to the disciples at some point but that didn’t mean he had now retired.  Jesus, during His time on earth related with people regardless of their social class. He saw people as people and didn’t discriminate.

Ministers of God have walked on earth and maintained the life of Christ and did not allow fame to deform their thoughts and ways.

The First-Century Apostles - consider their attitude towards ministry. At the height of their ministries (for lack of a better word), even at the peril of their lives, they traveled to share the Gospel and fellowship with fellow believers without making demands and signing contracts.
But today, some of us are learning the ways of the devil (without knowing), and our conditions before responding to invitations lack biblical foundation.

Let’s be careful.

Ancient error and so...
You came to meet certain seniors in ministry practicing certain things but they seemly look prosperous and have the numbers. That itself doesn’t endorse their works to be God-approved.

CHECK ✅ THE BIBLE AND SEEK FOR A REFERENCE.

In conclusion,
Jesus related to all and with respect. So, let’s learn well.
The truth is that we need to GO BACK TO THE BIBLE.
Let us learn from Christ, so let us study His life.
What matters is our obedience to Christ.
Be careful of your motive for ministry.
